Thank you
Thank you to all of the survivors and allies who made this last week possible! Our Journey Series was for you all, and y'all made it memorable and healing.
We are grateful for each one of you who joined us in “taking one step forward, together” in our collective healing journey. We believe that a world free from sexual assault and domestic violence is possible when people come together to create safer, more informed communities. With a full week of education and wellness sessions, followed by a celebration with great music, good food, some spiked hot chocolate (and a few cocktails), friendship, live painting AND fire dancing... we're feeling a sense of hope as we head into a new year!
From all of us at Self-Reclaimed, a heart-felt thank you to our Journey sponsors and major donors, who continue to show up and help us drive this mission forward. We want to recognize our Healing Sponsor: Art of Balance; our Empowerment Sponsor: KAI-NIX; our Allyship Sponsor: SheWolf Sacred; our Major Donors and Allyship Supporters: Marie Ordonez, D'Andrala (Dede) Alexander, Eric Stennis, and Elite Family Dance Company; and our In-Kind Donors: Apolla Dance Performance, Elanna Smith, Eunice De Leon, KAI-NIX, Karen Lum, Kenneth Berry, and Tou Ger Lee Coaching.

Journey Workshop Series
We started the week with a wellness check-in “Beginning Your Journey: Setting Intentions & Arriving Together” and “Reclaiming Your Boundaries: Yoga & Sound Healing”.
And we finished the week strong and centered with “Journey Into Your Qi: Tai Chi Workshop” with Damien, and with a panel of brave survivors that shared their perspectives during “Finishing Strong: Becoming a Powerful Ally Panel”.
After a final wellness check-in, on Saturday, we celebrated together taking this first step with “Journey's End”. We had a live band, fire dancing, live paintings, and more!
What a great week!
