Launched in 2023, pro.claim is Self-Reclaimed’s Community Night, where we honor the courageous expression of our community of survivors who proclaim their individual stories of reclamation through a performance showcase and intimate art gallery.
The survivors who perform for the evening have taken part in a 3-month expressive arts healing program, reclaim your story , where they explore reclaiming their stories:
from victim, to survivor, to healer.

FIREWEED.
From the ashes of a wildfire, the fireweed is the first to emerge - a symbol of reclamation. By taking over the landscape in bright plumes of vibrant purple, it restores what was taken, creating opportunities of renewal and hope.
pro.claim 2024 introduces for the first time, our FIREWEEDS. These are our healers - survivors - who refuse to be reduced to what happened to them. Witness them as they grow back with a fierce beauty that brings life to everything around them.
