MEET THE TEAM
The Faces of Our Organization
Vanessa De Leon is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Registered Dance Movement Therapist, Life Coach, and Registered Yoga Teacher with a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology. She also possesses a clinical history of working with people with developmental disabilities, children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, and adults with posttraumatic stress disorder, sexual trauma, severe mental illnesses, chronic homelessness, eating disorders, and other mental health symptoms. Throughout all of her clinical experiences, Vanessa had always empowered the people she worked with through a model of survivorship rather than prey victim to circumstance. Through a strengths-based approach with an emphasis on the body-mind connection and the power of community, Vanessa firmly believes that healing is not only generated but sustained for a long period of time.

Executive Director & Co-Founder
Antoinette Panganiban graduated from North Park University with a background in ministry and extensive training in pastoral care and counseling from the seminary. Antoinette believes that ministry goes beyond the church walls and has always felt called to help vulnerable communities especially if it is for the sake of empowering women. Her experience had primarily been in serving abroad with various non-profits that shelter girls and women who had been rescued from trafficking, displacement, and all sorts of sexual violence. From her first brothel outreach in India, Antoinette knew that she wanted to further her impact on one's healing journey. As one of the co-founders of Self-Reclaimed, Antoinette hopes to bring care and love to our members and walk with them in their journey to self reclamation.
