ABOUT DJ A-Lista: DJ A-Lista (pronouns she/they) is a Chicago based deejay whose musical stylings are a reflection of her experiences as a freestyle dancer and club goer. Her heart lies in the hypnotic home of House and Techno but does not discriminate by musical genre. A-Lista allows the past to inform the present: integrating vinyl turntablism with digital mixing. She has played at spots such as The Charleston Bar, The Whistler, Ludlow Liquors, and Smart Bar, and has been featured on Vocalo and Lumpen Radio. Her aims in a given set are to provide listeners the feelings of love and unity that she has lived herself on the dance floor. And that no matter their circumstance, they leave feeling A-List.
